Diagnostics in VS Code with SharpLsp: F# and C# errors as you type, SharpLsp's unused-open and dead-code analyzers, and the Problems panel
Transcript
SharpLsp checks your code as you type, before you save. In F#, its own analyzer marks an open that nothing uses, and the F# compiler catches a string where an int belongs.
C# gets the same from Roslyn. Assign a string to an int, and it's flagged straight away.
SharpLsp's analyzers go further. A private method that nothing calls is flagged as dead code.
Errors and warnings land in the Problems panel, each with its code and its source, ready to fix.
