Hover in VS Code with SharpLsp: F# signatures and doc comments, union cases, C# XML docs, the type behind var, and unsaved edits
Read the guide: Hover and Quick Info
Transcript
Hover a symbol to see exactly what it is. In F#, SharpLsp shows the signature the compiler inferred, with your doc comment underneath.
Union cases work the same way, and so do .NET types, shown just as F# sees them.
C# hovers come from Roslyn: your XML docs, rendered, and the real type behind every var.
And hover reads the code you haven't saved. Change a doc comment, and the next hover already shows it.
